Sacred Heart Bariatric Seminars

Happy New Year!  Did you know that one of the most popular New Year's resolutions is to lose weight?  Is this your resolution?  The Sacred Heart Hospital Bariatrics Department offers seminars several times a month for those seriously interested in weight loss.  In February 2012, we have seminars on Tuesday, February 7th at 7:00 p.m., Friday, February 10th at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 21st at 5:00 p.m. and Tuesday, February 28th at 7:00 p.m. in the Reception Room at Sacred Heart Hospital.   For more information, please call 610-776-4928 or click here.

Current Volunteer Opportunities:

Volunteer Greeter - If you are a "people-person" then the Volunteer Greeter position is for you.  You will assist the Information Desk Clerks with greeting and directing patients, family members and visitors entering and exiting the Sacred Heart Hospital Lobby. 

Patient Advocacy Liasion - This role serves as a vital communication link between hospital staff, patients and families.  In this role, you will assist the nursing teams by visiting patients in their rooms and assisting with simple, non-clinical needs.
